 How to Participate

Take on the following story challenge after completing Story Challenge Ch. 2. When Fractal Vice becomes available, you may participate from 24 City: Lobby.

 Obtainable Compatible Monsters

You can obtain the following limited Compatible Monsters in this Fractal Vice.

  • Naga Series: Naga A, Naga B, Naga G
  • Lycanthrope Series: Lycanthrope D, Lycanthrope P, Lycanthrope F
  • Scorpi Series: Scorpi H, Scorpi TS, Scorpi E

*The above Compatible Monsters might be available again in future Fractal Vice campaigns.

 Regarding the Addition of Score Rewards

With Fractal Vice - Hegemony Act 1 becoming available, the maximum for Score Rewards has been updated.

*For details on maximum scores and Score Rewards, please select "Confirm Exploration Score Rewards" when challenging Fractal Vice.

*Along with the Ver. 1.1.1 Update, adjustments have been made to the Event Overview. Please check "Ver. 1.1.1 Update Notice" for more details.

 Event Overview

  • Fractal Vice is a high-difficulty area with many exclusive items that are only obtainable within this area.
  • In Fractal Vice, you can obtain Polyhedral Codex, used for enhancing Tension Cards, and Fractal Vice limited Compatible Monsters from enemy drops and treasure chests.
  • Once per week, by opening a Special Chest, you can obtain exclusive Character Rank Up Materials.
    *Defeat the Bosses awaiting on the Boss Floors to open the Special Chest.
    *There will be Rifts on each floor that can be used to move to Boss Floors.

 Campaign: Fractal Vice "Favored"

During the Fractal Vice "Favored" availability period, Compatible Monsters with Sub Stats that enhance Fractal Vice "Favored" designated Strategy Skills and statuses will drop more easily.

*For more details on the availability period of Fractal Vice "Favored" and the target Sub Stats, please check Event > Fractal Vice "Favored".

 Fractal Vice Rewards

In Fractal Vice, in addition to normal drop rewards and treasure chests, you may obtain Fractal Vice limited Compatible Monsters and other rewards.

Compatible Monsters

  • Once you have collected a certain number of "Full Marks Stickers", you will have a chance to get Fractal Vice limited Compatible Monsters from things such as enemy drops and treasure chests.
  • The types of Fractal Vice limited Compatible Monsters you can receive will differ for each availability period. For more details, please check "Obtainable Compatible Monster".

Exclusive Character Rank Up Materials

  • You can obtain Character Rank Up Materials by opening Special Chest(s) after defeating Boss enemies.
  • You will receive the Rank Up Materials for the characters that are in your party when defeating the Boss enemies.

*Exclusive Character Rank Up Materials can also be used as presents and be given to characters.

*All treasure chests in Fractal Vice, including the Special Chest, can be opened once a week.

*The statuses of the treasure chests will reset at 22:00 (PST) every Wednesday and can be opened again after the reset.

Tension Card Level Cap Unlock Materials

  • Polyhedral Codex I
  • Polyhedral Codex II
  • Polyhedral Codex III

*The Antenna Shop "Parabola" will become available as you progress through the story. "Polyhedral Codex I" can also be exchanged at the shop.

 Score Rewards

  • You can receive scores for certain actions while progressing through Fractal Vice, such as defeating enemies and entering Rifts to proceed to the next layer.
  • Scores can be accumulated, and you can receive "Score Rewards" when reaching certain scores.
  • You can receive Enigma Entities, Fashion Tickets, and Enigmatic Fragments as Score Rewards.
  • The Accumulated Score and the status of the Score Rewards will be carried over to the next Fractal Vice.
  • The maximum for Score Rewards is scheduled to be updated in later versions.

*There is a limit to the score you can receive every week. For details regarding the Accumulated Score and the maximum score, please check Accumulated Score.

  • Enigmatic Fragments can be used at the "Enigmatic Fragment Exchange" (Menu > Shop).
  • Enigmatic Fragments can also be used at "Card Station Ω" in Safe Areas.

Card Station Ω will become available as you progress through the story.

  • Unlock Condition for "Card Station Ω": Complete Story Challenge Ch. 1

 Treasure Chests distributed based on Score

  • After defeating the Boss on the Boss Floor, Luxurious Chest(s) will appear in the far back of the Boss Floor based on the score received.

*The maximum number of Luxurious Chests that may appear after completing a single challenge is 30.

*Unlike treasure chests in Fractal Vice, chests distributed based on scores have no weekly limit on the number that can be opened.

 Central Shaft

  • By defeating the Boss located on B4 of Fractal Vice, you will gain access to a Rift in the far back that will take you to the Central Shaft.
  • When taking on Fractal Vice, you will be able to move directly to the area with the Red Limit Series and challenge it by selecting "Move to 24 City: Central Shaft".
  • In Central Shaft, the restrictions on functions such as party edit and recovery via Bloodstains will be lifted.
  • Defeat the Red Limit Series Boss at highest difficulty to obtain a corresponding medal.

*The Red Limit Series Boss that can be challenged in the Central Shaft will be updated on a weekly basis. If you have not unlocked the Central Shaft where the new Red Limit Series Boss is, you must do so by defeating the Boss on B4 of Fractal Vice again.

*Red Limit Series Bosses and difficulty levels will be added in an upcoming update.

 Weekly Missions

  • Meet the conditions for each week to get Wonder Boxes and Training Materials.
  • During the Fractal Vice availability period, the weekly missions will be updated at 22:00 (PST) every Wednesday.

*You can check the "Weekly Missions" by selecting "Confirm Exploration Score Rewards" before taking on Fractal Vice.

 Wonder Box

  • You will get a random item listed in "Wonder Box Contents", such as Character Skins, Player Card Banners for character customization, or Training Materials.
  • For details regarding "Wonder Box Contents", please select "Wonder Box" and press (i).

*Wonder Boxes will grant you random items when claimed. Please check Wonder Box details for the list of possible rewards.

*Other than the items marked "Items in this section will not be selected repetitively", items can be obtained more than once.

*When you receive a skin that you already own, the skin will be converted into "Fashion Tickets". You can exchange "Fashion Tickets" for skins at "Patimate" in Safe Areas. "Patimate" will be available after Story Challenge Ch. 1 is completed.
